UC Merced recently hosted BEAM Circular for a BiocirV workshop on bio-waste management, drawing more than 30 faculty, researchers, growers, processors, and industry leaders. The interactive session explored challenges, successes, and opportunities to strengthen the circular bioeconomy.

Looking ahead, BEAM will host the California Circular Bioeconomy Summit (BioCirCA) on November 5–6. The event will feature a public summit with speakers, breakout sessions, exhibitions, demonstrations, community benefit dinner, and a collaborative workshop for CBIO members.
