UC Merced has named its inaugural Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) faculty, including Professors Josué Medellín-Azuara, Rebecca Ryals, Safeeq Khan, and Reza Ehsani. These experts in engineering, sustainability, and environmental sciences will focus on smart farming, water management, and soil health to address regional agricultural challenges and promote climate resilience in the San Joaquin Valley.
