Dr. Josh Viers, Associate Vice Chancellor and VISTA faculty director at UC Merced, participated in the “Ag Summit: Exploring the Coexistence of Water Users in California” on September 4, 2024, at Fresno State. He moderated the “Demystifying Water Data” panel, which brought together experts to discuss collaborative solutions for California’s water challenges. The Maddy Institute, a key partner of UC Merced, strengthens the public policy impact of the region’s universities, providing opportunities for research, student internships, and public service in the San Joaquin Valley.
