A group of UC Merced students—Alexandro Pioquinto, Fernando Moncayo, Maria Enciso, Cody Gong, and Landon Fife—are working on a capstone project to create an innovative tool that easily pits jujubes. Advised by Professor Reza Ehsani, this team is supported by F3 Innovate and F3 Local. Their work aims to enhance the efficiency of harvesting and processing jujubes, showcasing the practical applications of engineering in agriculture.
