The fall Sow & Grow workshops were a great success! On October 16, participants gathered at the UC Merced Greenhouse to explore hands-on techniques for plant propagation and to learn how simple methods can lead to big growth.
This month, the series will continue with a session on planting California native species, highlighting the vital role of pollinators and native habitats in supporting resilient ecosystems. These workshops bring together students, staff, and faculty, strengthening our shared commitment to sustainability and stewardship of the land. This month the farm team partnered with Dignity Health to donate 700 pumpkins for their annual Employee and Family Trunk or Treat event. The pumpkins brought smiles to families across the community and added a fun, festive touch to the celebration
