In other farm news, a comprehensive soil survey is in progress, with 432 samples being collected across the site. This project, led by Barbara dos Santos, Ana Sandoval, Rachel Beattie, and Isaac Leyva, will provide insights into soil health, nutrients, and structure. The results will shape science-driven decisions as we continue developing a resilient, regenerative future for the UC Merced farm.
