PhD Candidate
Hui Wei is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at UC Merced, advised by Prof. Shijia Pan in the Pervasive Autonomous Networked Systems (PANS) Lab. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Courant Institute at New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. His research focuses on both the theoretical and applied aspects of machine learning, particularly in enabling computer systems to better interpret Internet-of-Things (IoT) sensing data and deploy machine learning models in real-world IoT applications.
